Oakland’s Artists, Now and the Future

Mocha… a cup of coffee, a rich color, and an opportunity to advocate for the arts as an essential part of a strong, vital and diverse community.

MOCHA, the Museum of Children’s Arts, provides hands-on art-learning experiences for children and their families in their museum, in schools and preschools, and in public venues.

Along with a few, talented local artists, we created a 2011 Calendar that will bring art into your life every day. The profits from the calendars will be donated to the Museum of Children’s Art.

Your 2011 Calendar features Abby Martin, Ahn Didi Bui, Maria Fatima Urbi and Matt Lucas. We thank them for sharing their artwork for this project. You can find their contact info in the calendar.

Please come by Somar any time to pick up your 2011 Calendar and make a donation that will help the future of Oakland’s artists…young and old.

Please pass on this message. You can use the tweet button below or the Facebook link. Thank you.
